The Massive Winner In You
If you like winning clap twice, in fact if you like winning let me hear you say whoooooo hoooooo! Ah! Beautiful, music to my ears. My question to you is this, why do you think people don't win as much as they could in life? That's the magic question! We all have tremendous potential to win at almost everything we try! Everyone who is listening to my voice right now I am almost certain just shouted out a whoooo hooooo at least I hope so and still most people never really amount to any type or form of Winning. Again I ask why is that?
One thing I am certain of is that it won't be you. You will win I can promise you that! Let me clue you in on a major factor of why people are not winners or are currently not winning it's because they don't Like to Win. As you are reading this you probably said, what, what is Kory talking about? Think of some of the greatest winners ever, what common traits to do they share? How about commitment, sacrifice, effort, determination, discipline, dedication and the list goes on. See, many people will not even put themselves out there to be successful so they can win. People are not committed. They wont even give themselves a shot.
A mentor of mine Les Brown says you have to " Be Hungry." Not in the literal since but in the since that you want it more than anything else. The brilliant quote by the great Wayne Gretzky "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take". Most people will not make the attempt because Winning is hard and when things seems hard or out of reach people cave in.
As I mentioned earlier, I know you are different. The 3000% effort you need to give to be classified as a winner is important to you. Whatever pain or sacrifice you have to endure is well worth it and you have decided there is no price you aren't willing to pay. That is how you win, by laying it all on the line at all cost. You have to know without a shadow of doubt that winning is possible. Think of any great sports ending I can guarantee you that the team that prevailed believed all along they were going to win. Whether they were down by, 20 points or it was the bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, two outs, down by 3 runs. Winners understand that rising above when your back is against the wall becomes second nature. It's habitual. Winners have an unwavering belief that no matter how bad things are they will find away to be victorious. On your journey to Greatness, Success and Mastery you can Win to.
Call To Action (CTA): Think of a time when you won something, how did it make you feel? What type of behavior did you display? Write down all the Characteristics that made you a winner at one point or another. Once you have a list of 10 or more narrow the list down to the 5 characteristics you felt were the most influential in your winning success. Keep these 5 traits by your bedside, in a frame, wallet or purse and whenever you feel that winning seems hopeless or light years away recall these 5 characteristics and go achieve more.
